What is your return policy?

Thank you for shopping with us. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, but we also need to be clear about what to expect. Please review the following policy carefully. 

General Return Policy (U.S. and International Orders)

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you received is:

  • Defective
  • Damaged in transit
  • Significantly not as described

If you believe your order qualifies under one of these exceptions, please contact us at Support@crooksandbanditscomics.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, description of the issue, and photo evidence. 

International Buyers – Legal Compliance Notice

We comply with local consumer protection laws in the countries we ship to. This means:

European Union (EU) and United Kingdom (UK)

If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery for most items, even without a reason.

  • You must notify us in writing within 14 days.
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • Refunds will include the original purchase price and the standard shipping cost (if applicable).
  • You must return the item in its original condition and with all original packaging
  • If the returned item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we reserve the right to reduce your refund in proportion to the loss in value.
  • We do not charge a restocking fee, but we may deduct any damage-related loss in value from the refund amount.

 Canada,  Australia,  New Zealand, and other regions:

  • Returns for change of mind are not accepted.
  • You are entitled to a refund or replacement only if the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, as per local consumer laws. 

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and with all packaging included.
  • Items must be returned within 14–30 days, depending on the applicable local law.
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless required otherwise by law. 

Refunds

  • If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the item.
  • Original shipping fees (if any) will not be refunded unless required by law.

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos (if damaged or defective)

We take customer satisfaction seriously, and even where we do not accept general returns, we aim to resolve valid concerns fairly and quickly. If you have any questions, please contact us before placing an order.

Do you sell to retailers?

Crooks & Bandits Comics does not sell to retailers. Crooks and Bandits Comics is a retailer selling to individual customers.

What do I do if something is missing/damaged from my shipment?

Please notify us email within 48 hours of receipt of your shipment and we will be happy to help you with concerns of missing or damaged items. Please note the damaged items need to be photographed and emailed to determine correct . Notifying us within 48 hours will help us to obtain replacement items. If a damaged item is not reported in the first 48 hours after delivery, Crooks & Bandits Comics is able to deny replacement. Please note: If you have your shipments sent to a freight forwarder rather than being shipped directly from us, we are not responsible for any damaged items.

When will my order be charged?

Orders are charged when they are placed.

When can I expect my order?

Orders are shipped within 48 hours after they are placed excluding weekends, excluding periods of high order activity, or when items in your order is temporarily out of stock. In the latter case, re-orders are placed with our distributors for the out of stock items which can delay your order while we wait for additional stock from the distributors.

In the occurrence of high order activity, our processing times may exceed 48 hours.

Can I cancel an order?

Unfortunately, we do not accept order cancellations and requesting multiple order cancellations may result in account inactivation. In the event that we receive an unauthorized return, we will charge a 30% cancellation/restock fee. In addition, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs. Why was only part of my order shipped?

For temporarily out-of-stock items, Crooks and Bandits Comics places weekly reorders through our distributors in order to receive more stock. In the event that an item in your order is out-of-stock for more than seven business days, we may (1) cancel and refund the out-of-stock items and ship the remainder of the order or (2) ship the in-stock portion of your order with a follow-up shipment for no additional shipping cost once the out-of-stock items return to stock.

Once a partial shipment has been sent for an order, any item scanned after that point will show as shipped in your order (full red circle) but we do not ship the remainder of the order until all remaining items have been filled.

If we are unable to receive more copies of an unfulfilled title, an email alert will be sent to you notifying you of the issue. You can then select a substitute item (of equal or lesser value) or a refund for the unavailable item.

Why was my order cancelled after one month?

If an item in an order is out-of-stock for a prolonged period of time, a refund will be processed to you after one month of unfulfillment by the distributor. An email notification will be sent to you alerting you of the refund for the unfulfilled item.

When can I expect a response to my e-mail?

Generally, we try to respond to e-mails within 48 hours. However, there are times when we receive a high volume of e-mails and responses may take longer.

When an item has been released, if it is on your site, does that mean it is in stock and ready to ship?

Yes, except in cases where we have received more orders than available inventory, or when there is an error in inventory. In those cases, re-orders are placed with our distributor for the out of stock item which can delay your order.

In the event of a refund, does Crooks & Bandits Comics reimburse for any bank exchange fees or currency rate changes for international transactions?

No.

If my tracking information shows that my order has been delivered but I can't find the package, does Crooks & Bandits Comics offer a replacement or refund?

If the shipping company provides proof of delivery (photo and/or signature), Crooks & Bandits Comics does not take responsibility for a lost/stolen package.

If the shipping company does not provide proof of delivery it is important for the customer to check with neighbors, reception, and office management before contacting us to make sure the missing package was not claimed by someone else.

If a customer has a known problem with packages being stolen from their address, Crooks & Bandits Comics does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen packages at that address.

Does Crooks & Bandits Comics honor price matching?

No, we do not price match between competitors. For Crooks & Bandits Comics sale items, we do not honor sale prices on orders that were created before the sale start date.
